Worship in Spirit and Truth
"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him."
—John 4:23 (NKJV)
Under the New Covenant, worship isn’t about location, tradition, or performance. It’s about the heart. God promised to write His laws on our hearts and minds—not to keep us tethered to temples, priests, or systems. True worship flows from relationship. And the remnant is being invited into that relationship now—no middlemen, no stage, no show. Just you and the Father.
You don’t need a worship leader to access God. You need the Spirit and the truth. He is near to those who seek Him in sincerity and surrender.
"God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
—John 4:24 (NKJV)
The Spirit we speak of is not a separate person or entity—it is the Spirit of the Most High God Himself. The same Spirit that hovered over the waters in Genesis, the same Spirit that filled the prophets, and the same Spirit that now dwells in those who walk according to His will.
"By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God..."
—1 John 4:2 (NKJV)
making Worship Happen
(According to Scripture)
Pray continually – Speak to the One True God (not Jesus as God) with reverence and honesty (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
Worship with your life – Offer yourself as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God (Romans 12:1).
Wait on Him – Be still before Him. Let Him speak (Psalm 46:10, Isaiah 40:31).
Sing a new song – Worship with music, even in your own words (Psalm 96:1, Ephesians 5:19).
Seek truth – Let the Spirit of the God lead you into all truth (John 16:13).
Stay clean – Purify your heart and walk in obedience (James 4:8, 1 John 2:3–6).
We are not building an institutional church. This is not a ministry—it’s a resource. A way to point back to the Father, through His Spirit, by the example and obedience of the true Jesus Christ. We encourage you to gather with others who believe in the one true God—the Father, the Most High—and who understand the roles rightly: the Spirit as God's own Spirit, and Jesus as the obedient man who showed us the way back to the Father.
If you’re looking for worship music that stirs the Spirit and keeps the focus on the Most High, here’s a playlist we return to often:
